How to Install and Activate Your RoamRapid eSIM

Before You Begin

You will need:

• An eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked phone. Check your exact model on our Compatibility page.
• A reliable internet connection. Connect to Wi-Fi or another device’s hotspot while installing.
• Your RoamRapid installation details. Open My Account to find your eSIM QR code or simply check your purchase confirmation email.
• Access to your QR code. If you plan to scan it with your phone’s camera, display it on another device.

When Should You Install and Activate Your eSIM?

You can install your eSIM before traveling while connected to Wi-Fi. Installation adds the eSIM to your phone, but your plan’s validity starts when it first connects to a supported network at your destination.

Keep your RoamRapid line off until you are ready to use your plan. At your destination, turn it on, select it for mobile data, and enable data roaming.

Install Your eSIM on Your Phone

Choose your device for step-by-step instructions:

• iPhone

Menu names can vary by phone model, software version, and device language. These instructions use English menu labels.

1. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on iPhone

   1. Open your iPhone’s Camera and scan your RoamRapid QR code displayed on another device.

   2. Tap the Cellular Plan notification that appears.

   3. Tap Add Cellular Plan.

   4. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the eSIM.

   5. If asked to label the line, choose RoamRapid so you can recognize it later.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM.

2. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on Samsung Galaxy

   Method 1:

   1. Open Settings, then select Connections.

   2. Tap SIM manager or SIM card manager.

   3. Select Add eSIM or Add mobile plan.

   4. Choose the option to scan a QR code, then scan your RoamRapid QR code.

   5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

   Method 2:

   1. Open your Samsung Galaxy’s Camera and scan your RoamRapid QR code displayed on another device.

   2. Tap Add Plan to Phone.

   3. Tap Confirm.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

3. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on Google Pixel

   1. Open Settings, then select Network & internet.

   2. Tap SIMs, then Add SIM. On some versions, tap the + beside Mobile network.

   3. Select Set up an eSIM or Download a SIM instead?

   4. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your RoamRapid QR code and complete installation.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

4. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on OPPO

   1. Open Settings, then select Mobile network or SIM card & mobile data.

   2. Select eSIM.

   3. Accept the setup terms if prompted, then select Add eSIM.

   4. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your RoamRapid QR code.

   5. Wait for installation to finish.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

5. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on Huawei

   1. Open Settings, then select Mobile network.

   2. Tap SIM management.

   3. Select SIM 2, then Add eSIM.

   4. Scan your RoamRapid QR code.

   5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

   Note: By default, an eSIM is always associated with SIM 2.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

6. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on Xiaomi

   1. Open Settings, then select SIM cards & mobile networks.

   2. If you see a Use eSIM switch, turn it on.

   3. Select Manage eSIM, then Add mobile plan.

   4. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your RoamRapid QR code and complete installation.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

7. How to install your RoamRapid eSIM on Motorola

   1. Open Settings, then select Network & internet.

   2. Tap Mobile network, then Advanced.

   3. Select Carrier, then Add carrier.

   4. Follow the prompts to scan your RoamRapid QR code.

   5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

   Once installation is complete, follow the steps under Connect using your RoamRapid eSIM when you reach your destination.

Connect Using Your RoamRapid eSIM

When you reach your destination, follow these steps to start using your travel data.

1. Open your phone’s SIM or cellular settings.

2. Select your RoamRapid eSIM and turn the line on.

3. Choose RoamRapid for cellular data or mobile data.

4. Turn on Data roaming for the RoamRapid line.

5. If available, turn off automatic data switching to keep RoamRapid selected for mobile data.

Check That Your Mobile Data Works

When you are within your plan’s coverage area:

1. Confirm that your RoamRapid line is on and selected for mobile data.

2. Check that Data roaming is enabled for the RoamRapid line.

3. Turn off Wi-Fi temporarily.

4. Open a webpage to check your mobile data connection.
